ABSTRACT. The article is devoted to an actual problem – the peculiarities of administrative and legal provision of information hygiene (IH)in the conditions of current Ukraine. The issues of the essence and purpose of this concept are considered. Variants of information security rules developed by representatives of Ukrainian civil society are presented.

The content of the full cycle of administrative and legal provision of information hygiene during the war is revealed, which should consist of the following stages: awareness of the existence of a group of public needs regarding the need to develop IH rules; the emergence of relevant public interests based on the specified needs; recording of the specified interests in administrative and legal regulations (material, procedural, regulatory and protective); implementation of the specified norms with constant control and supervision support and prompt response to cases of their violation; in the presence of the composition of the offense, bringing the guilty person(s) to administrative responsibility; correction of the relevant rules in the event of an urgent objective necessity.

It is concluded that in order to fully and urgently implement the existing urgent public needs in relation to the development, proper normative consolidation and compliance with the rules of the IH by Ukrainian citizens, it is necessary to carry out the following organizational and legal actions: transfer from the usual to a special format of the functioning of the domestic media space, which will objectively correspond the realities and tasks of martial law; to develop and normatively fix the unified rules of the IH, followed by bringing their content to the general public of Ukrainian citizens; to prepare legally regulated rules for the distribution of socially significant information on the territory of Ukraine under martial law with the introduction of administrative responsibility in case of their violation.
