ABSTRACT. The article is devoted to the coverage of the issue related to the professional training of law enforcement specialists in foreign countries. The principles underlying the training of police officers, as well as clarifying the specifics, content and structure, have been identified. Positive trends in police education in developed countries. The directions of reforming and modernization of the domestic system of professional training of law enforcement officers are outlined as a guarantee of improving security and law and order in the state.

Indicative principle on which police training is based Abroad, for example: the direction of specific experienced training, the direction of conceptualization of the training process, the development of physical fitness, the individual approach of listeners and listeners, the direction of active experimentation. The structure of police training in France, Great Britain, the United States of America is presented. Revised training centers, listed types of training and identified requirements for police training.
